If you connect external health systems or import records through FHIR-based integrations or other supported formats, we receive the data you authorize those systems to share with us.

  • Generate AI-powered health insights, summaries, and correlations based on your data.
  • Enable caregiver access and shared health profiles as you authorize.

3. AI-Powered Features

Americano Health uses artificial intelligence to translate complex medical information into clearer language, summarize health patterns, and surface insights from your data. AI features operate solely on the data within your account. We do not use your personal health data to train general-purpose AI models. AI-generated content is informational only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With your consent: when you authorize a caregiver or another individual to access your health profiles.
  • Service providers: trusted third parties that assist in operating the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery), bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Safety: to protect the rights, safety, or property of Americano Health, our users, or the public.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes or enforcing agreements).
