Delete your data (keep your account)

You can request that Americano Health delete all of your health and profile data while keeping your account from the Manage account webpage. You will remain signed in with empty profiles.

Steps to request data deletion

  1. Open the Manage account page. From the app: go to Settings and tap Manage account (this opens the account page in your browser). Or on the web, sign in and go to the Manage account page.
  2. Scroll to the Delete my data section.
  3. Tap or click Delete my data, then confirm in the dialog.
  4. All of your health and profile data will be permanently removed. Your account and profile names will remain so you can continue using the app with empty profiles.

If you cannot access the Manage account page, contact us at support@americanohealth.com to request data deletion and we will process your request.

Data that is deleted

When you choose "Delete my data", Americano Health permanently deletes the following from your account:

  • All health data in every profile you own (medical history, conditions, allergies, medications, medication check-ins)
  • Appointments and symptom logs
  • Connected medical records (EHR connections and synced data)
  • Shareable health summaries and share links
  • Profile photos and uploaded documents
  • Subscription and account-level app data

Data that is kept

Your account is not deleted. We keep:

  • Your login (email and password)
  • Your profile(s) as empty shells (names only, no health data)
  • Your subscription plan (you can continue or cancel separately)

Retention period

Data deletion is completed promptly after you confirm in the app. Backups may be purged within 90 days.
